Located along the banks of the Mississippi River, Savanna’s oldest park provides direct river access and scenic views, making it an ideal spot for a relaxing day outdoors, a picnic, or enjoying a meal with a beautiful backdrop.

Located on the northeast side of town, Old Mill Park includes ball diamonds, tennis and basketball courts, playground equipment, a concession stand, two restrooms, and multiple shelter houses. It also features a nature trail, walking path, and green space for picnicking.

Helle Park, a 2.5-acre neighborhood park on the east side of town, was dedicated on December 24, 1976, as a donation from the Helle family. Located between Jackson and Arnold Streets, it features two playground areas, a basketball court, a walking path, and parking

In September 2003, with the help of KaBoom, Team Illinois, and over 150 volunteers, a 4,500-square-foot playground was built in one day. The park also features a basketball court and picnic facilities, and the land was donated by the City of Savanna.
Sixth Street Park

This historic site commemorates the Aaron Pierce family, the first white settlers of Savanna, and features a monument in their honor. It marks the location of the original teepee they lived in when they descended from the Pinnacle Bluffs. The site is visible from the road and wheelchair accessible.
